SEXUALITY AS AN EMANCIPATING POLITICAL DISCOURSE:
A CURRENT LOOK AT THE ANARCHO-FEMINISM OF THE EARLY TWENTIETH CENTURY IN CHILE AND ARGENTINA
Keywords:
anarcofeminismo, sexualidad, discurso político.Abstract
This investigation is the result of a monographic research which, in light of the impact of the feminist movement in Chile in 2018, has been revised and redirected in favor of the recognition of Latin American women of the last century, who had struggles similar to the current ones, but that nevertheless, historiography-in its periodized zeal-has not mentioned in its "feminist waves". The investigation is framed at the beginning of the 20th century, both in Chile and in Argentina in the context of the social question, where workers and workers were attracted by political movements that called for the abolition of bourgeois privileges and for the vindication of the oppressed. Within these struggles emerged women who with their newspapers managed to denounce the patriarchal model, and show an incipient anarcho-feminism, proclaiming the idea of an emancipation of women due to its double exploitation: class and gender. For this reason, both in Chile and in Argentina, they expressed their ideals in the working press, talking about issues such as contraception, childcare, free love, domestic work. In this research we analyze your newspapers, and so we could know about your thoughts and contrast them with what happens today.
