Abstract

The First Ladies of Rome is the first book by English author Annelise Freisenbruch, a PhD in Classical Antiquity from Cambridge University and an assistant researcher in the production of popular books and films about the ancient world. In his work Freisenbruch analyzes the importance of the first Roman ladies in the rise and construction of the Roman Empire.
