Abstract

We intend here to reflect on popular poetics in their inseparable dimensions of music and dance, articulated by the web of possible meanings established from the notions of poetics, popular and art. In this sense we use a reflection that appropriates these manifestations in expressions, from different places, moments and traditions, to argue that their occurrence does not occur in isolation and can only be understood in these contexts of their productions, whether rural or urban areas, or as we prefer to think of a spatiotemporal transit that brings us closer to "between places", a situation that is even more striking in times of virtualization of cultural expressions.
