Abstract

I have been a history teacher for 10 years and have been working for 7 years in the state education network of the State of Rio de Janeiro. Currently, I work with regular high school classes and JSCA (young and adults). This work, however, was developed with the regular modality. It is about using hobbies as a methodology rather than as an instrument and to include games (with large boards for students to walk on) in the evaluative processes that culminated in a History Olympiad, composed of four games better explained ahead. From this work (drawn up over a decade) a three-volume collection titled History Games, published by the Authors Club publisher in 2016. In addition, I set up a group (called Fun History) on Facebook in which I publish weekly activity from the book. This activity is in Power Point and can be used directly in the classroom. There the teacher counts on digital objects (maps, images, etc.) and complementary materials for the lesson of the respective theme.
