UNDERSTANDING NON-FORMAL EDUCATION

PROJECT SING HERE, SAMBA THERE, LET'S ALL BE HAPPENED TO THE OLD ASSOCIATION OF THE OLD IN ITABERABA - BA

Abstract

The article emerged from experiences provided by the supervised stage III belonging to the curriculum of the degree course in History - University of the State of Bahia, Campus XIII. The work aims to describe the stages of the project Sings here, Samba there, let us all rejoice applied at the Association of the Old Ones in the city of Itaberaba - Ba. The purpose of this article was to approach the experiences of the internship in a non-formal environment with academic knowledge, in order to analyze the planned and the results obtained at the culmination of the proposed project, as well as to analyze the reasons for elderly people staying in shelters, associations and asylums. To do so, we refer to discuss the opinion of some residents of the association about living in this new home, and their positions related to the proposed project. Given this, based on the experiences, it is concluded that the internship experience provided an odd knowledge for our teacher training and deepened the importance of knowing, respecting and entering other branches of education.
