Abstract

This communication comes to reporting the teaching practice experience in the teaching of local history, through the use of Blog as a pedagogical tool. Developed at EEF Porto Novo Itapiranga-SC, the “Projeto História Local Porto Novo” emerged in 2012, involving students from 6th grade to 8th grade. Order to study the local history of the regional community, addressing closest historical facts of the reality of students, focusing on the photographing and digitizing historical materials (old photos, newspapers, objects and documents) and conducting interviews, a work, called Memories Alive. After study in the classroom, the materials produced by the students are shared with the community through the discipline of the Blog: www.historialocalportonovo.blogspot.com
