Abstract

The book, published in 2013 and consists of three chapters in addition to the presentation of the work, the preface written by Prof. Dr. Norberto Luiz Guarinello and closing remarks, is entitled “A noção de propaganda e sua aplicação nos estudos clássicos. O caso dos imperadores romanos Septímio Severo e Caracala” and results of the doctoral thesis, USP in Economic History of that author. It seeks to show to those interested in ancient history of the area and those who wish to revel in an objective reading and explanation regarding the history of Rome from the second and third centuries AD, more specifically, how was the process of affirmation of the first two emperors Severianos (Septimius and his son, Caracalla).
