Abstract

This article presents a brief study of the Arab Medieval counseling literature and the perception of a growing demand for oriental studies in research centers in Brazil. The literary field already has a prominent place as a source of studies for the medieval world in the West a few decades ago , however , studies of this issue directed to the East are recent . As an example of counseling literature gave priority to Kalila work and Dimna which operates as a kind of border between the historical discourse about the ruler 's role in the Caliphate Abbasid in the mid- eighth century , and natural structures that share the advice works over time.
