The experience report aims to demonstrate the possibilities of use of oral history as a viable combat racism in the school environment instrument, but specifically among youth 12 to 15 years of poor communities, the main victims of racial and economic prejudice. It also aims at empowering women and african-Brazilian culture in line with the law 10639/2003, as these are still victims of prejudice even within poor communities, fueled by the media, by common sense and also religious interpretations.
