Abstract

Teacher training is high on the agenda today. Their emergence, associated with economic globalization and the spread of networked knowledge, reflected in education, especially in the demand for teachers and the requirements around your
preparation and performance. In Brazil, is highlighted by the effective exercise of teaching without the proper training. The Teacher Training Program on Exercise (PROFORMAÇÃO), an initiative of in-service training at a distance, is an
alternative. This experience is discussed in this paper, supporting the relationship between pedagogical orientation and improvement of teaching. The subject examined on Program in Quixadá-EC relies on qualitative research with eight
graduates. It is argued that an educational policy is Proformação induced reflection of the educational agenda agreed externally. They question the focus on the teacher and the use of seductive discourse of professionalism to justify the relief of their training. His pedagogical proposal is comprehensive, offering subsidies to the understanding of teaching post-training of its graduates.
