Abstract

In this article, we reflect upon a case of mapping skills as a means of achieving efficiency in the production process of public organization. Accordingly, we analyze the changing world of work, production process and policy. It became an
object of study, the case of mapping the powers of the Secretary of the State of Ceará (SEFAZ). Identification of the organizational and managerial skills and took up about the need to replace specific actions to develop people for public policy
analysis was structured, so the search results of the mapping of skills, from the point of view of sustainability and economy. Is also presented, observations and recommendations aimed at equipping finance managers, in general, and Human
Resources in particular with important information for decision making.
