Abstract

The research aims to analyze whether the Casa do Cidadão provides, effectively, promotion and access to citizenship. In addition to the specific literature on citizenship, fundamental analytic category all the research, and also the use of questionnaires with 80 (eighty) users of the Casa do Cidadão to know your idea about the concept of citizenship and their degree of satisfaction regarding the services and care offered there. Analysis of all data collected, several conclusions are presented at the end of the work, which should, however, say that the services offered in the Casa do Cidadão in part enable the promotion and access to citizenship in order that these are insufficient to generate people’s awareness of what would be the attributes of an individual for the exercise of full citizenship, requiring then a critical look by the current management and implementation for a substantial modernization of the equipment.
