This study aims to evaluate the satisfaction of students in courses in the distance, from the analysis of groups with varying degrees of satisfaction. A field survey was conducted among 172 students of Bachelor in Business Administration courses in distance mode of two national public universities. Using the method Chi-Square Automatic Interaction Detection (CHAID) could explain the variability in the level of satisfaction of different groups. The variable that best explained the variability in the level of satisfaction was the ability of teachers to adapt content to the socio-economic status of students. Moreover, they expect not only that these professionals are able to talk, but to keep the dialogue efficiently. Among those who perceive that teachers are not able to make such adjustments the guidance of tutors splits the group between those more and less satisfied with the course.
