Professional guidance to adolescentese in conflict with the law

This study presents the aspects that facilitate or hamper career guidance for adolescents in conflict with the law, considering the experience of the state of Ceara in professional qualification programs of institutionalized adolescents and experiences of the researchers on the development of action research on career guidance for inclusion of the adolescents in the world of work. The action research was developed on the houses of custody and was enriched with data from the participation of the authors in the State seminars and courses on socioeducational measures, conducted in several cities in the state of Ceara, along the years 2009 and 2010. The main conclusions of this study are the need to build indicators for evaluating effectiveness and efficiency of the actions undertaken in the houses of custody and to develop vocational guidance programs considering the meaning of work for institutionalized adolescents and the dialogical strategies of intervention.
