In the context of chaos, setbacks and uncertainties which the public education is being through in our country, we seek in this text to discuss the organization process of the Early Childhood Education curriculum in Brazil from the propositions of the National Curriculum Common Core. In an specific way, our paper aims to: I) present the Basic Document which will guide the construction of the Basic Education curricula in Brazil; II) present which contents will be part of the curriculum of the education of children from the age of months to 5 years old; and, III) point out the perspectives that are outlined in the face of the uncertainties placed at the moment of finalization of the document under analysis.
