RELATIONSHIP TEACHING AND DANCE: DIALOGUES BETWEEN LABAN AND BELLY DANCE

Abstract

Since the appearance of the Degree Course in Dance of the UFC in 2011, integrant of
the Institute of Culture and Art, it was possible to develop questions about dance. In
this work is questioned the teaching of this artistic language from the reproduction or
copy, something recurrent in most of the dances. This also occurs with the bellydance,
object of study of this research. Through readings and associations with the subject,
are proposed methodological approaches to modify the teaching usually used in
bellydance from Laban's studies. So, this research discusses the possible ways to
teaches an encoded dance of a new way which deconstructs the knowledges already
apprehended at the same time that presents knowledges never before mentioned.
