Increasingly epidemiology (prevalence between 3% and 6% throughout the world and in Brazil) and etiology complex (multifactorial, combining biological and social components). Although considered by many as neurodevelopmental disorder of biological origin, there is increasing discussion of their symbolic, intersubjective and social aspects. We seek in this article to discuss the findings about ADHD and on public inclusion policies that developed to reach that include neurodevelopmental disorders which include ADHD. Joining the struggle of social movements by the inclusion of scientific knowledge about the disorder is essential to good planning and good practice of the fact that policies respond to the needs of suffering and not just play the idea of vertical policy.
