Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the incidence of bullying and gender violence at the University of Pará (UEPA). To develop the study, we took into account the bullying as a form of violence, seeking at the same time, identify which public policies are being adopted by the State, especially UEPA, to be able to curb this type of violence. Understood the importance of the topic, broke to diagnose how is bullying at the University of the State of Pará, in order to identify functional categories emquais is present bullying and whether, in fact, as shown by the research, women are the most affected by this type of violence. We attempted to also policies adopted to extinction of this act and what impact it has caused in the public service. Researched only the servers of the institution, both the administrative group as the group teaching, not extending to the student category. The survey was conducted on campuses in the city of Bethlehem, because the capital that concentrates the largest number of servers of the University. This study used field research literature, questionnaires, interviews, and focus groups.
