Abstract

This article discusses public policies to guarantee rights of elderly in the state of Ceará. The relevance of this study for the University consists in improving the debate whose productions ANIMATE the spread of innovative ideas and proposals able to contribute to significative advances, in order to understand how recent public policies contribute to guarantee rights of elderly. Methodologically appears as a review article of contents of the thesis of the same author, submitted to the State University of Ceará (UECE), professional master`s degree in planning and public policies, whose limits and possibilities are considered in their theoretical validity for the purpose of this article.
