The Schools of Professional Education available in Ceará, a northeast Brazilian State, were created as a result of the Brazilian Programme of Professionals. This Programme has the aim of offering specific training as well as financial help. These professional schools from Ceara were primarily founded in 2008. In 2013, they sprung up to the great amount of 97 units. Their main interest is to qualify young people technically for working and to contribute for the youngsters personal development. The Schools follow a philosophic background and the knowledge of the Social Enterprise Technology – TESE (Tecnologia Sócio Empresarial). TESE has the vocation of building the future through actions focusing on student’s experiences of Experimental Education Center -PROCENTRO Centros de Ensino Experimental. PROCENTRO has the mission of looking after the youth aiming to preparing them for the working market and for the challenges of life. The theme of this research is the analysis the Educational Professional Programme in Professional Schools of Ceara. We will be discussing the model of the professional educational system as well as its implantation in the period between 2008 and 2013. The project Professional Scholl in Ceará is our general goal. Our research was a bibliographical study. The school can deal with the task of qualifying the youngsters for a position in the working market, giving them support to step up to the next level and improve their performance in the educational field.
