It's young:
an ICT educational project focused on vocational training and social-digital inclusion of young people from the state of Ceará

This paper performs an appreciation about the trajectory of the Project e-Jovem as governmental action of professional and digital qualification of young people from public schools in the state of Ceará. Exploratory, the research is based on the observation data on political, technical and pedagogical issues related to e-Jovem. Research sources were official documents of Project e-Jovem, such as: Project Political, Course Plan, Structure Didactic-Pedagogical Analysis of the socioeconomic profile of the participant's e-Jovem and the report of the Impact Assessment of Projects Funded by State Fund to Combat Poverty (FECOP) and accountability held by financing fund of e-Jovem. The research concludes that the Project e-Jovem has been developing successfully the qualification in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to their students, understanding that access to and use of new technologies and tools are essential for the integration of young people in the labor market. However, to effect social and digital inclusion, it is necessary to combine professional training with public employment policies in order to contribute to the improvement of the socioeconomic conditions of young people of Ceará and building a fairer and more equal society.
