State and Right to Early Childhood Education:
revisiting the history of this building
Keywords:
Public policy, Childhood education, Right to educationAbstract
Throughout the history of Brazilian education legislation, early childhood education was being legitimized as formal education space and contemplated in the legal instruments such as the child's right. In this article we consider the construction of the notion of the right to education, seeking to understand how historically man began to refer to the concept of human right and how this impacted on the concept of the right to education and the right to early childhood education in Brazil. This bibliographic review was the basis for the development of master's research entitled "Quality in kindergarten in a school in the city of Fortaleza: a look at the construction of a concept."
