The journal Conhecer: O Debate entre o Público e o Privado is an open access biannual publication (January and August), free of charges for authors and readers, created and edited by the Graduate Program in Public Policy of the Ceará State University (UECE). As an interdisciplinary journal, Conhecer: Debate entre o Público e o Privado aims to disseminate unpublished research, through articles by professors, researchers, professionals, and students, developed in the domain of undergraduate and graduate studies in Brazil and abroad, focused on the area of Public Policy and Planning.
The journal Conhecer: O Debate entre o Público e o Privado:
- Has a curricular proposal that meets the academic requirements for education and consolidation of a core of excellence;
- Consolidates a research focus in line with national and international parameters;
- Takes a pedagogical action capable of meeting the needs of society;
- Guarantees transparency in its pedagogical proposal and assessment of the process to deploy this proposal;
- Adopts a publishing policy capable of making publicly available the studies by the course’s professors and students;
- Improves social insertion by interconnecting university, State, and civil society;
- Articulates its experience to others that unfold in various areas.
