Abstract

This article has as its theme the history of public and private life, of Dona Fideralina Augusto de Lima, representative of Mandonism in political life interior of Ceará, at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th. We analyze the meanings of mythical memory ”, related to Dona Fideralina, in the popular narrative, as a representation of oral cultures, which persist amid the “new” orality of languages technological.
