Abstract

Our goal is to analyze, from a feminist-materialist perspective, the violence against women in cinema through three cases reported by the #MeToo Movement, against directors Bernardo Bertolucci, Woody Allen and producer Harvey Weinsten. In addition to the analysis of the reports, we emphasize the importance of the #MeToo Movement, as well as the way women started to behave against violence in cinema. The problematization of patriarchy and sexual division in cinema will be our basis for analyzing the proposed object.
