Abstract

The quality and the democratization of the education are recurrent subjects in the speeches of educational the public politics. However, the content of the concerns and reflections regarding these subjects, always, are permeated by conceptions in agreement the point of view of the analysts, the social actors and the public managers. But, it must be related to the contexts of the debate and the place in which if it finds each actor in the conflict for defining its meanings. To give to a theoretical statute the reflection in the track of Henri Acselrad (2009) I refer to “the discussion to it on the social reproduction”, that is, to the “reproduction in the time of the material conditions of constitution of the social relations”. The sustainability of the cities/society directly is related to the maintenance of the various sociocultural identities of the human groups. Similar process occurs in relation to the definition of an education of quality and to its management. In the first part, present an interpretation of the “deep cloth” on which, the educational politics and the subjects if develop in the present time. In second, discuss the quality and the management related them it the projects, utopias and values in cited conflict the classes and to the projects of societ. Therefore, the content of the quality and the management should be related the sustainability of what, because and for who? Such question is developed to the end, followed of final comments.
