Evaluation of the quality of the assistance provided by professionals who work in the health family strategy in the city of Sobral-CE

Abstract

Donabedian's quality components: structure, process and 27 managers of the Basic Health Units participated in the research Sobral (headquarters and districts); 157 UBS workers and 807 service users, 685 from headquarters and 122 from districts. The results showed that the UBS in most are properly equipped to serve the population, there is a deficiency of medical professionals, with the need for training and qualification for professionals aiming at improving the care, the relationship between health professionals and the population needs to be strengthened, with a view to greater credibility in the actions developed by these health professionals, the fact that the team is welcoming contributes to the satisfaction with the service and the trust placed in the professionals. Improvement is perceived health indicators of the municipality after the implementation of the PSF.
