Public Security in Ceará

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the general proposals of the “Government of Changes” in the field of public security policy, such as, for example, the search for legitimacy and the relationship between police and population, as well as reflecting on some events that worked against a process of legitimacy and moralization. These events, as moments of crisis and conflict, enabled rich and stimulating sociological analyzes.
