Abstract

In this paper we address cultural policies in Argentina in regard to the levels of the national State and the provinces that comprise it. We will deal with the organizational aspects of the areas responsible for these policies, the means of financing cultural activity, and the main challenges of cultural policies in the country. We are interested in highlighting that the representations of the world and of the social offered by cultural policies, skew the possibilities and ways of seeing themselves of the various human groups, as well as the capacities to make conscious and informed decisions about their present and Future as societies.
