Abstract

In a crisis context of modern development paradigms, cultural discourses are now recognized as strategic elements in the consolidation of new models and indicators capable of guaranteeing the proper connections between culture and development. From a complex thought about these connections, the article in question expands the meanings of the expressions development and culture, aiming to enrich the reflection on public policies in Brazil.
