The world of work or other worlds for work

Abstract

The present study is dedicated to discussing the concepts of labor, work and human action, in the perspective embraced by Hannah Arendt. The aim is to distinguish between possible work and necessary work, in view of class economic and social perspectives. The diagnosis of the necessity and feasibility of work and its effects on the exercise of citizenship is made.
