Abstract

This article seeks to establish some levels of understanding about of the establishment of public health policies in Brazil during the Government Provisório by Getúlio Vargas (1930/1934) as well as to what extent this agenda of health included the prophylaxis and treatment of leprosy in the state of Ceará and more specifically in Fortaleza.
