Fatores que influenciam no desenvolvimento do Ensino da Matemática no Ensino Fundamental

Mathematics is part of the everyday life of all people, being present in the most routine activities. However, the process of teaching mathematics presents several problems, and reflecting on it, allows for an improvement in its teaching. In view of the new contexts that permeate mathematics, with the creation of new concepts and the introduction of theoretical elements, which are not directly related to the students' reality, the difficulties in teaching and learning of mathematics begin to occur and with this the students present the disinterest in discipline. Faced with this, this study has as an analysis the factors that influence the development of mathematics teaching in the final series of elementary school (9th grade). In order to do so, a descriptive research methodology was used as a method and a bibliographic research method, based on books and scientific articles linked to the theme. Identify the need for a change in methodologies by teachers and the creation of a school that not only transmits the formulas for memorization to the students of the ninth year of elementary school, but rather contents that bring them closer to reality and prepare them to face the challenges of daily life and mathematics that is present in all the routines of life.
