Abstract

This research aims to understand the scenario of performance of public management actors in the area of ​​the Eastern Amazon, the ability to implement public policies under the responsibility of the State with predominance for reality, together with their peculiarities of formation and socio-spatial dynamics, having in view of its strategic location. As it is not possible to design a work of this nature without relying on the methodology of scientific investigation, it was appropriated in the sense of establishing the paths for its execution, when the quantitative type of research (approach) was defined due to its content. qualitative, through bibliographic, historical and documentary modality (procedure). It is also related to its nature and objectives (purpose), applied, exploratory and explanatory research. Adopting the methodological procedure of bibliographic survey and data analysis, the present investigative approach sought to assess the role of Brazil in relation to the integration and security initiatives of Amazonian countries, integrating this approach with the understanding of the dynamics of integrational security in the Transnational Amazon , especially the Eastern Amazon. It is based on this path, that an expanded analysis of the importance of this region in South America emerges as a result, from numerous conceptual and historical paths, allowing to glimpse fundamental aspects of this region.
