We aimed to analyze the contributions of dietary interventions in the context of interdisciplinary gastric cancer therapy, focusing on patients' quality of life and psychological well-being. This is a literature review conducted between January and June 2025, following the methodological guidelines of Galvão, Pansani, and Harrad and the Joanna Briggs Institute. Databases such as PubMed, Medline, and Cochrane Library were used, with a search guided by the PICO strategy. The selection followed well-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria, prioritizing studies from the last five years that addressed dietary interventions in the interdisciplinary treatment of gastric cancer. Eight studies were included after rigorous analysis. The results indicate that individualized dietary interventions promote multifactorial benefits: improved nutritional status, control of gastrointestinal symptoms, increased treatment adherence, prevention of cachexia, and strengthened self-esteem. In addition, adequate nutritional support contributes to the recovery of the pleasure of eating, reduces food anxiety, and stimulates patient autonomy, reinforcing psychological well-being and quality of life during treatment. Nutritional interventions represent an essential and multifaceted component in the interdisciplinary approach to gastric cancer. Despite the methodological limitations of the studies analyzed, the importance of integrating nutritional support into the oncological treatment plan is highlighted, and more robust and standardized future research is recommended to measure its physical, emotional, and social impacts.
