Using validated tools to assess the magnitude and relevance of the research, as well as the representativeness of the problem-question, and to define the eligibility criteria, an integrative literature review was carried out. Searches in the Google Scholar, PubMed, LILACS and CAPES Periodicals Portal databases returned 400 publications, in English and Portuguese, from 2020 to 2025. After screening by title and abstract, followed by a thorough reading, 8 original articles relevant to the construction of the plan remained. The results highlight key practices such as solid waste management, environmental education, climate monitoring, vector control and social mobilization, as well as addressing gaps in basic sanitation public policies and the impact of fake news on adherence to interventions. The research proposes an evidence-based model, composed of intersectoral stages and adaptable to different epidemiological contexts. These guidelines can help public managers formulate strategies for other diseases, promoting sustainable and effective actions for control and prevention. It is limited by the scarcity of studies on regional intersectoral actions. We recommend validating the model in different contexts and expanding the analysis of sanitation policies and intersectorality.</p> 2025-05-22T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Simone Oliveira Lucas Bertoldo, Tallyrand Moreira Jorcelino, Luciano dos Santos Almeida Filho, Fernanda Campos Sousa de Almeida, Hildeane Teixeira de Oliveira Viana https://revistas.uece.br/index.php/gestaoecuidado/article/view/15552 Reclaiming Our Humanity: The Call for Person-Centered Care 2025-05-13T10:27:55-03:00 Kateryna Metersky kateryna.metersky@torontomu.ca Tommy Lin tommy.lin@uwo.ca 2025-05-13T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Kateryna Metersky , Tommy Lin
