https://revistas.uece.br/index.php/gestaoecuidado/article/view/14933

This paper aims to narrate, based on the literature, elements of social work intervention in combating domestic violence against women. It is a narrative review of the literature on violence against women and the role of social workers in this context. The results point to descriptions, concepts, history, and epidemiological data (profile of the abused woman and the abuser) of domestic violence against women in Brazil; and relate social work and its professional intervention in domestic violence against women. There has been undeniable progress in the conception of women, especially legal progress aimed at guaranteeing their rights and protection—although it is still necessary to advance in terms of cultural traits and the influence of machismo under the patriarchal bias in Brazilian society. Laws such as the Maria da Penha Law are considered relevant legal and ideological milestones in the process of women's struggle and empowerment. It is also worth mentioning the undeniable ethnic-racial and social component in which most women victims of violence are inserted. Given such complexity, the work of social workers faces the challenge of adding guidance and contributing to the process of empowering these women, enforcing the precepts contained in the profession's code of ethics, which guide their interventions to implement the profession's ethical-political project.
Iara Lima Negreiros

https://revistas.uece.br/index.php/gestaoecuidado/article/view/13893

This study presents the steps for drawing up an integrated health surveillance plan, using dengue fever as an example. Using validated tools to assess the magnitude and relevance of the research, as well as the representativeness of the problem-question, and to define the eligibility criteria, an integrative literature review was carried out. Searches in the Google Scholar, PubMed, LILACS and CAPES Periodicals Portal databases returned 400 publications, in English and Portuguese, from 2020 to 2025. After screening by title and abstract, followed by a thorough reading, 8 original articles relevant to the construction of the plan remained. The results highlight key practices such as solid waste management, environmental education, climate monitoring, vector control and social mobilization, as well as addressing gaps in basic sanitation public policies and the impact of fake news on adherence to interventions. The research proposes an evidence-based model, composed of intersectoral stages and adaptable to different epidemiological contexts. These guidelines can help public managers formulate strategies for other diseases, promoting sustainable and effective actions for control and prevention. It is limited by the scarcity of studies on regional intersectoral actions. We recommend validating the model in different contexts and expanding the analysis of sanitation policies and intersectorality.
Simone Oliveira Lucas BertoldoTallyrand Moreira JorcelinoLuciano Almeida dos Santos FilhoHildeane Teixeira de Oliveira VianaFernanda Campos Sousa de Almeida

https://revistas.uece.br/index.php/gestaoecuidado/article/view/e15459

This study aims to analyze the distribution of collective health education activities aimed at adolescents within the scope of the Health in Schools Program (PSE) in the state of Ceará, between 2018 and 2023, based on data from the Health Information System for Primary Care (SISAB). This is a cross-sectional, descriptive study, based on secondary data, focusing on epidemiological analysis and the implications of actions for care management. The results demonstrate significant nursing participation in educational activities, in addition to significant thematic and geographic variations. The predominance of topics such as combating the Aedes aegypti mosquito and sexual and reproductive health reveals the prioritization of relevant public health issues. The analysis allows us to infer regional inequalities and the need for more equitable strategies in the implementation of health education policies.
Thalita Caroline Costa FaçanhaValter Cordeiro Barbosa Filho

https://revistas.uece.br/index.php/gestaoecuidado/article/view/14871

The aim of this study was to analyze the perception of managers regarding the implementation process of the Emergency and Urgent Care Network (RUE) in the state of Piauí, Brazil. The research was qualitative and conducted through virtual semi-structured interviews, focusing on the State Steering Group. Managers from the following health regions were interviewed: Entre Rios, Planície Litorânea, Vales do Rio Piauí e Itaueiras, and Tabuleiro Alto Parnaíba. The interview material was transcribed to consolidate the textual corpus, which was processed using the IRAMUTEQ software. Data analysis was carried out using the Descending Hierarchical Classification (DHC) method. The analyzed content was categorized into seven distinct semantic classes, which were grouped by similarity, resulting in three categories: National Policy on Emergency Care (PNAU), RUE and its regionalization, and RUE components. The state steering group was observed to play a leading role in guiding the implementation of RUE in Piauí, particularly through agreements and dialogues with other stakeholders involved in the process. It was concluded that the managers' perception of RUE implementation was positive, particularly in terms of improving user access, enhancing physical and logistical structures within the network, optimizing and increasing the resolution of cases, implementing care pathways for acute myocardial infarction and stroke, providing dignified and specialized transportation, and addressing care gaps, especially in the southern region of the state.
Sabryna dos Santos Costa Naila Roberta Alves RochaAna Larissa Gomes MachadoMidian Pereira dos SantosThereza Maria Magalhães Moreira
