Literature and psychoanalysis in Freud: the work as symptom
Keywords:
Literature. Psychoanalysis. Freud. Symptom.Abstract
This essay aims at reflecting upon the relation between literature and psychoanalysis in Sigmund Freud`s work. The reflection approaches the discussions around his work whilst a symptom, which means, as a product of interpretations and neurosis which favors the unconscious as key to the study of the subject relating to the forms. That means asserting how the literary text speech is entangled to complexes observed, for instance, in the behavior of characters, and even in the author`s own psychic manifestations. Thusly, from Freud`s work literature starts to relate itself to other speeches loosening in this process the work`s singularity and autonomy as a private object.
