Abstract

This article discusses some theoretical issues raised by Marc Bloch, Carlo Ginzburg and Roger Chartier, and its influence in studies in medieval history, highlighting how these authors open possibilities for the study of this period. History has changed a lot since its establishment as a discipline, both in its methods and in its theoretical framework, so we will weave some approximations between the three authors selected to try to understand their importance in these changes. For this, we mended brief reflections on the authors and some selected points of his theories and methodologies, making relations with medieval studies. Finally, we will select a few works that help us in this reflective exercise, so that, through this select bibliographic we can caught an idea of the influences of the this authors.
