Abstract

The german Rudolf Virchow is considered as one of the most controversial scientific figures of the nineteenth century. Their bequest was and is acknowledged in many areas of human knowledge, making your figure played one object of academic study, especially linked to the emergence of the social medicine. This paper discusses a feature not yet sufficiently explored in his work: a popularizer of Science, basing themselves on published primary sources in nonGerman literature.
