Abstract

This article will reflect on how the country culture was portrayed by analyzing the
letters of electronic forró and the confrontation with the news that the newspaper
Diário do Nordeste, brought about these migrants. Making a reflection on the ways of
living and relating these migrants, the relationship between country and city (junction
or cancellation) and own modifications occurred during the years he spent with the
rhythm of "pé-de-serra" to "eletrônico" with the inclusion of electronic to traditional
forró bands instruments, analyze unusual aspects of the relationship between music
and everyday life. Then chose the cowboy as typical figure to represent this intrinsic
relationship between music and everyday and also between rural and urban, as it is
shown in letters of electronic forró.
