THE RESEARCHER IN THE DANCE REGISTRY

Abstract

The exposed in this work was produced from the experience as monitors of the
discipline History and Temporality in the Dance: Views of the Course of Dance of the
UFC and some of the stimulating questions for the realization of researches in this
area. From this, the objective is to understand how the historian's profession in Dance
was born in Brazil, and to discover the space of acting of the teaching historians and
possible difficulties possible difficulties for him faced in the exercise of this profession.
To investigate and to know the history of the dance must be an interest of several
individuals including who participates straightly of this universe. It suits to a
teaching historian to govern this process and to make it interesting developing others
methodologies enlarging multiple looks for this area of the knowledge.
