LULISM WITHOUT Squid ?: THE WAYS THAT LEAD TO A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

Abstract

This paper aims to rebuild the paths into the construction of Dilma Rousseff's pre-candidacy over the second mandate of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The electoral analysis, generally, works focused on electoral times which are legally defined. However, considering the pretensions of groups in power, we observe that the movement of construction of candidacies begins in the moment of a previous government, specially in cases which the reelection is not further possible. Considering the political cycle of PT as an example of this movement, in Brazil context, I take the events of the second mandate of Lula to indicate how happened the drawing of Dilma Rousseff's candidacy e her rising as Lula's heir.
