“BETWEEN PATHS OF MEMORY OF THE UECE SOCIAL SERVICE COURSE”: AN ANALYSIS OF HIS SIXTY-FIVE YEARS

Abstract

In 2015 the course of Social Work celebrated his sixty -five years. Initially school and founded in 1950 was linked to the Social Institute of Fortaleza and in 1956 was the University of Ceará incorporated. In 1975 it turned into graduate of the newly established State University. Among these paths until today the institution has established itself as the face of social problems in the state. It is through this issue that this text address the history of the course, contextualizing with the area's history in the country and using the discussions on the concept of memory to support the theoretical framework.
