DISPENSATIONALISM, PROSPERITY AND THE "REFORMED COSMOVISION": EVANGELICS AND THE ELECTION OF BOLSONARO IN 2018
Keywords:
Evangelicals; Politics; Elections 2018Abstract
The article aims to make an analysis of the 2018 elections from the perspective of the theological perspective of a considerable portion of its constituents, evangelicals. Define the groups, differentiate them, as well as their motivations and a supporting narrative to the candidate Jair Bolsonaro. The article also intends to make a brief historicity of the relation of the evangelicals with the culture, in which the politics is only a part of it, to understand how the proposals of Bolsonaro spoke more clearly and direct to three very different and even conflicting groups between the Evangelicals: Pentecostals, Neo-Pentecostals and Calvinists.
