Abstract

This interview was originally conducted in French, in Paris, in February 2024. Prof. Jean-Louis Fournel [1959-] is the supervisor of the doctoral internship of the interviewer, Fernanda Elias Zaccarelli Salgueiro, at the Université Paris 8, at the Laboratoire d'Études Romanes (LER) and the Center interuniversitaire de recherche sur la Renaissance italienne (CIRRI), networks of researchers from different institutions (French, Italian and other countries) dedicated to the Italian Renaissance. The interview is divided into three parts: education, professional trajectory and approaches and distances referring to the method and critical commentary.
