A inexistência do Mal e a graça de Deus: uma discussão acerca da liberdade em Santo Agostinho

Abstract

This study aims to identify the relationship between free-will and freedom from divine grace and nonexistent of evil in the Augustinian philosophy, with reference to the work Free-will. Therefore, it is demonstrated the nonexistent of ontological evil. Before lack of ontological evil, it is discussed the origin of moral evil and its relation to free-will. Later, it is seen the role and the divine grace’s types and how, through them, the man regained his freedom. In conclusion, the free-will refers to the will as the freedom refers to action.
