the myth of Sisyphus and its correlations with contemporary man

Abstract

This article draws parallels between the work The Myth of Sisyphus (1942) by the Franco-Algerian philosopher and novelist Albert Camus (1913-1960) and the problems experienced by contemporary man, through the understanding of terms such as the Absurd, suicide and revolt, trying to establish how the human being of the 21st century is not so far from the character of the Greek narrative.
