Abstract

Since Jacques Le Goff announced that “as doenças têm história”,research in this area started to congregate in groups and exchange programs. In fact, the call only made a stream of abundant research that had existed for a long time public and respectable in the historiographic field. Lines of continuity were perceived in the works of renowned researchers in other areas, and books - such as, for example, Os Reis Taumaturgos, by Marc Bloch - could be inserted in a common base of configuration of a new area, with its own objects and their characteristic approaches.
