Abstract

This article problematizes the formation of the object of an archive based on the discursive formation of the Center for Historical Studies and Documentation, from 2001 to 2019, through the History graduation at Universidade Estadual Vale do Acaraú – NEDHIS–UVA, in short, a Social History of Documentary and Archive Sources. In this way, we intend to problematize the formation of the object of an archive based on the composition of NEDHIS, Historicizing the archive in the Historiographic operation (A Place, Practice and Writing); thinking about the social history of documents according to the effect of rarity, accumulation and exteriority of statements; to discuss the meanings of Archive from NEDHIS. The methodology proposed for this work is based on the analysis and description of the Discourses, based on Foucault's considerations on the procedure of the Archeology of Knowledge for the problem of the Archive, as well as a survey of the core's documentary typologies, to problematize its practice in relation to the history of documentary sources.
